EARL OF SANDWICH - Tampa - Bayport Commons

EARL OF SANDWICH

Today I was thrilled to attend the ribbon cutting for the newest Earl of Sandwich in the Bayport Commons area of Tampa, Florida. If you aren't familiar with the Earl of Sandwich I would strongly suggest that you get to their nearest location and immediately start (researching) tasting your way through their amazing menu.

Earl of Sandwich originally opened in 2004 at Downtown Disney, now Disney Springs. “Inspired by John Montagu, the 4th Earl of Sandwich who invented the sandwich in 1762, this location is the third to open in the Tampa area and a great addition to the Tampa Bay community,” a media release announcing the opening said. The Bayport Commons location joins locations already open in the Royal Palms Shopping Center in St. Petersburg and a store at International Plaza in Tampa.

You are welcomed in with bright, clean decor, a modern 4 screen digital menu is displayed on the left wall, and the aroma of deliciousness. I was able to taste two of their amazing sandwiches at the ribbon cutting. First the Chipotle Chicken Avocado: Grilled chicken, bacon, cheddar, avocado, lettuce & chipotle sauce and the warm artisan bread. I ate every bite of this delicious sandwich.

Next I was offered a taste of their signature sandwich the Holiday Turkey: Turkey, cornbread stuffing, turkey gravy, cranberry sauce & mayonnaise.  This sandwich is nothing short of amazing. The delicious turkey, kissed with cornbread stuffing, the gravy, the cranberry sauce all come together to create thanksgiving in your mouth!  You absolutely must try this sandwich.

The new Hillsborough Avenue location is open from 8AM to 8PM Monday through Thursday, 8AM to 9PM on Fridays and Saturdays, and from 11AM to 7PM on Sundays.  Breakfast items are available until 11AM daily. For more information or to check out the full menu go to http://www.earlofsandwichusa.com/

If anyone would like some help tasting their way through the menu, I am just a text away!

Life is delicious. Taste everything!!
