Originally the Bomber Jacket or flight jacket was a very heavy-duty jacket and its roots can be traced back to World War I. These jackets where used to keep pilots warm in cockpits that were not enclosed. This classic silhouette is immediately recognizable, and is now found in many closets as a fall fashion staple. Thankfully today's Bomber Jackets are made with much lighter weight material which means even those of us living in WARM Florida can take part in this fun trend, as the temperatures ever so slowly start to cool down.
